I just learned today of your Aunt's passing and I am so sorry. I was going to send her a Christmas card and little gift and thought that I should confirm that she was still at Applewood. That being said, I discovered what had happened and my heart is so heavy. I thought the world of Eleanor and Gus. I was a neighbor (3 doors down). Sometimes I would shovel their sidewalk in the winter and they would have a hot cup of tea and cookies for me. They were always so excited to see me and we would talk and talk and talk! I was so amazed at how Eleanor, in her senior years, took such good care of Gus. Eleanor loved God and there was always a bounce in her step. She was one of the youngest senior citizens I have ever known. Was there a memorial fund set up for her? Please e-mail me at cook4est@att.net. I currently live in the Dallas area. Carolyn (Levish) McNally

Thanks for sharing that. I'm sure it wasn't easy to do. You and your family are in my prayers during this time of loss.
